Quick, Easy Parking at "Little Publix"
on Cape Coral Parkway

Personally, I like the "little Publix" because it is close and convenient, and it has most everything I need for weekly groceries, and then I make a monthly trip to Costco or Sam's Club.

The only problem I had with this store when I first moved here was the parking lot.  It was always a bit too busy, and bit too tight.  After a couple trips to that Publix, I noticed that there were several empty parking spaces on the street behind the store.

The next time I went grocery shopping I stayed on Pelican and crossed Cape Coral Parkway.  Instead of turning right on the Parkway I turned right on SW 47th Terrace.  This takes you right to those parking spaces, and as long as you don't mind parallel parking, you can park there without having to even enter the parking lot.  Quite often, you can just slide into one of those spaces without backing up.

Those parking spaces put you almost as close to the front door as any parking space in the lot, and you do not have to cross traffic to get to the door.

Once you've done your shopping, unless you're driving a large SUV, you can make
a U turn and then turn left on SW 2nd to get back out to Cape Coral Parkway.
This lets you avoid the traffic light at Santa Barbara and the Parkway.

Don't go back to Pelican!  The intersection at Pelican is "right turn only."
